Malpas ran the ball at every opportunity and further tries from winger Danny Allen who would go on to secure a hatrick of tries, Matty Harding and Rhys Clarke would take the score 32-0.

Malpas should have went into the half time break further ahead but prop Rhys Sayer dropped the ball on the try line and to compound his afternoons work was then show a yellow card for a blatant shoulder barge on the Forgeside scrum half.

A raft of half time changes caused the game to turn a bit scrappy and the 7-man scrum of Malpas were put under pressure by a strong Forgeside pack and the visitors scored two well-earned tries.

The home side found themselves back down to 7 in the pack when Courtney McDonald was show a yellow card for kicking the ball out of the scrum.

Malpas closed the game out with further tries from Danny Allen and Matty Harding to take the final score to 47-10.
